Water Mist Fire Extinguishers

Amerex has introduced new water mist fire extinguishers with and old extinguishing agent --"Water." It's clean and safe, it creates no risk to the occupants nor will it damage surrounding equipment. With its unique misting nozzle, the unit is UL rated for class "C" combustion. That's right, it has no electrical conductivity back to operator, no thermal or static shock.

The unit is Environmentally Friendly with no O.D.P. (Ozone Depletion Potential), has no effect on global warming, and the EPA (US Environmental Protection Agency) has no phase out restrictions on it.

The unit is ideal for protecting areas in hospitals, health care facilities, telecommunication switches, clean rooms, and electronic equipment manufacturing. With its non magnetic construction it can even be used in MRI Facilities.

With a UL rating of 2A:C it can be used wherever there is a class "A" hazard near electrical equipment or any place a 2A-rated extinguisher is needed.

Recharging is as easy a refilling a conventional pressurized water unit except the recharge agent is distilled water instead of tap water.
